terrassa.ca:

Terrassa - Outdoor Living is an online merchant specializing in container gardening products and services.

Working with the client's graphic designer we designed a site that is clean, modern and easy to navigate. It features an on-line store, pages detailing Terrassa's services and a news section designed as a blog for easy updating.

We created the main site content in WordPress and then built the on-line store using the WP e-Commerce plug-in. This allows the site owners to maintain their own content as well as manage their products and sales. The site uses PayPal on-line payment services to securely handle purchases.

hushmedia.ca:

As a "...full service agency dedicated to making your brand more relevant and compelling..." it was important that hush Media's own site be dynamic, interactive and modern. To that end, we designed a site made entirely in Flash that delivers their message and portfolio in an exciting and compelling way.

The various sub-categories under the Services tab display the content using a 3D carousel effect while the Our Work section lists their extensive portfolio using sliding containers that, when clicked, load the portfolio pieces in a shadow box.

planitmeasuring.com:

Modern Empire Inc. hired us to assist in a marketing overhaul for their client PLANiT™ Measuring.

Following the client's specifications we created a Flash intro that ends on a uniquely designed landing page. The rest of the site features a custom designed Flash navigation bar as well as a News section built utilizing WordPress for easy updating by the client. We also provided alternate html content for platforms that are unable to utilize Flash (i.e. screen readers or iPhone users) so that the information on the web site is accessible to everyone.

The management of Club Ash hired us to create this flash based web site which features, a music player, on-line VIP sign up, reservations and job applications as well as restaurant and bottle service menus updated from xml.

carpentierwine.com:

Carpentier Wine is an Ontario-based wine sales agency and our mandate was to keep the design clean and modern.

To create this site we enhanced a rough design given to us by the client and then used that to create a custom WordPress design. The site features three custom WordPress page templates, two flash slideshows and a flash based select menu on the 'portfolio' page.

Using WordPress to create the site gives Carpentier Wine the freedom to update their content on their own whenever they choose.

ginamallet.com: The blog of Gina Mallet, restaurant critic for the National Post of Canada and author of Last Chance to Eat.

She asked us to redesign her blog with the focus on keeping it uncluttered and easy to read.

mortgagesuperhero.com: The web site for mortgage agent Kim Gibbons

Kim Gibbons wanted a site to capitalize on her Madfatter created superhero brand. To tie the site into her work as a mortgage agent we took her brand colours and integrated them over an image that suggests the peace and comfort of a neighbourhood in early spring. To give the design a bit of action we then animated the cape on her logo. The result is a clean professional looking site with a touch of whimsy.

Love Connection: The web site for the short film directed by Scott Brophy and Trevor Fischer.

This flash site utilizes a unique interface, designed to look like a room with an armoire in the center. Users traverse the site by clicking on various elements in the "room".

Madfatter Inc. created all of the elements for this site from the custom graphics to the flash coding.

Trevor Fischer Blog Site: The personal site of the owner of Madfatter Inc.

The mandate for the blog site was to "keep it simple and let the content do the talking". To this end it features a nearly monochromatic colour scheme and a concrete motif. The site was then built over the WordPress blogging platform which handles the heavy lifting of posting and archiving the content.

This flash site, Sammy the Hanukkah Lobster was created to showcase the short animated video based on the lovable (if somewhat sleazy) antics of it's eponymous main character.

Madfatter Inc. created the entire site including the animated video itself.
